I've spent some time in the unfamiliar chair of designing graphics for my audio book. The DVD jacket is coming along nicely, but still not quite what I'm looking for. I still plan to have everything cooking by the middle of April. I'm getting good reactions to the sample files from Alice's Adventures, so I'm encouraged.
As a friend of mine observed, starting a business like this means you end up wearing a lot of hats. Too many. But fortunately I only have to figure everything out once. At least if I'm a little lucky. At least I'm not bored out of my skull with nothing to do!
I also did a test reading of some random areas in Moby Dick just to see how tough it was going to be. I really think Alice was tougher due to the different cartooney voices I chose to do. We'll see.
